• Welcome to Saints Martha and Mary Episcopal Church
  • Why Martha? Why Mary?

Saints Martha & Mary has paused in-person worship because the latest COVID-19 numbers in Dakota County exceed recommended safe gathering guidelines. Still, we are the church wherever we are and we have an inspiring line-up of lessons and carols and a keen message from Rev. Molly Weiss. Our Christmas Eve service is at 5 PM Central. We are worshipping via Zoom. To get the link, simply contact the This email address is being protected from spambots. We want you to be spiritually fed. To that end, consider making a prayer request using the form to the right of this article. We may not all be gathered in the same building, but at this time, when we need eachother so much, we are invited to worship together, from where we are – knowing that God can hear us all and can blend even distant voices into one song of worship. We're a church that seeks to love our neighbors. No exceptions.

Closing Thoughts

Let me not wrap, stack, box, bag, tie, tag, bundle, seal or keep Christmas. Christmas kept is liable to mold. Let me give Christmas away, unwrapped, by exhuberant armfuls. --Linda Felver

Christmas Meditation

That first Christmas changed a world and alters it again if we keep Christmas, not just on the day, but in the year, by what we do and say. you have made all the peoples of the earth for your glory, to serve you in freedom and peace. For that to happen, I--we--must believe not just in God in heaven, but God on earth, God in me and you: Love born in our hearts, practiced in the mangers of our world. It's up to us to keep the Christmas. For this we pray. Amen.

-Father Tom Garrison

About Us

At Saints Martha & Mary we have a team approach. Each week you get to hear from a different voice. We believe different perspectives help our congregation see the many ways Christ's word and works are alive in the world. Remember, that you, too, can make a difference for others:

Christ has no body now but yours. No hands, no feet on earth but yours.

If you would like us to pray for you or with you, please make a prayer request on the form to the right of this article. If you would like more information about our safety protocols or what we stand for, simply email the webmaster
