• Welcome to Saints Martha and Mary Episcopal Church
  • Why Martha? Why Mary?

“Blessed be God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit”

At Saints Martha and Mary you will find a welcoming worship tradition. Following the Book of Common Prayer, visitors will always find traditions that connect us to the wider church, but they will find contemporary approaches to the music and liturgy too, the music is diverse with both contemporary and traditional hymns carefully selected to have meaning for the week’s readings and the church season. For kids of all ages we offer story time. Come experience worship and Saints Martha and Mary and let us extend to you, our friendly greeting in Christ, “The Peace of the Lord be always with you.”

After 70 weeks—490 days—Saints Martha & Mary Church is finally able to gather back in-person, inside the sanctuary. Please join us Sunday at 9:30 AM.

Rev. Molly will celebrate her first service of Holy Eucharist with us. We have enacted numerous safety protocols in a plan to help keep you safe. That plan will evolve as conditions do, but with a Dakota County positivity rate of only 1.2% for COVID-19 and just 1.7 cases per 100,000 people, the time is right to reopen.

In general, key elements of our plan include:

♦ Love your neighbor and wear your mask, for now. Because we welcome everyone (and we do not know everyone’s vaccination status), our church guidance is to continue wearing masks for indoor services.

♦ You will see seat separation and we ask that if someone is in the row in front of you on the right hand side of the row,  you sit in the next row on the left hand side to maximize that physical distance.

♦ There will be Communion, but no common cup. There will be music, but recorded for now with singing and choir expected to resume in September.

♦ Contact tracing requirements continue to apply, which means for your safety we need to know how to     reach you should we learn of an exposure.

This Independence Day we would like everyone who feels safe to do so to gather in thanks and gratitude for our mutual inter-dependence on each other and for the good and gracious God we serve. O Come let us worship—together.

"Let each of you look not only to his own interests,

but also to the interests of others."

- Philippians 2:4

Closing Prayer

Lord God Almighty, you have made all the peoples of the earth for your glory, to serve you in freedom and peace.

Give to the people of your country a zeal for justice and the strength of forberance, that we may use our liberty in accordance with your gracious will, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, for ever and ever. Amen.

About Us

At Saints Martha & Mary we have a team approach. Each week you get to hear from a different voice. We believe different perspectives help our congregation see the many ways Christ's word and works are alive in the world. Remember, that you, too, can make a difference for others:

Christ has no body now but yours. No hands, no feet on earth but yours.

If you would like us to pray for you or with you, please make a prayer request on the form to the right of this article. If you would like more information about our safety protocols or what we stand for, simply email the webmaster
